The village of Craster on the Northumberland coast is surrounded by many fishing venues which offer the chance to catch breeds such as conger eel, lesser spotted dogfish and Pollack. The main areas for fishing include Castle Point which is set right by Dunstanburgh Castle. The cliffs and surrounding rock edges are fantastic for fishing and even better for stunning coastal views!
The harbour at Craster has a huge selection of fish which can be caught from either of the two short piers. The large amount of fish due to the dumping of waste materials at the harbour mean you could return to your holiday cottage with a large catch of fish including cod, coalfish and flounder.
