Description

Set within almost half an acre of mature and private grounds, this detached bungalow offers delightful unique accommodation to a good standard.  The owners are keen conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts. Also being dog owners they are very welcoming to pets at the property. Areas of these very large and varied gardens are set aside to actively encourage and support wildlife. As a  result there is an abundance of birds throughout the year, including several pairs of swallows that return each year to nest under the eaves. There also resident hedgehogs and voles, and recently a couple of red squirrels were spotted in the large fir trees at the back of the rear garden. The garden contains several mature fruit trees which the owners do not harvest, again in order to encourage wildlife. There is a Wendy House on the large rear patio, and a set of swings on the rear lawn also childrens and adults bicycles in the garage.. Silver Birches also boasts a purpose built sunroom at the rear where the fully enclosed gardens and wild life can be enjoyed. A haven for relaxation. Originally a 1970's construction Silver Birches is being constantly upgraded by the owners. This year two sets of patio doors have been added to enhance outside views, and to allow light to flood the lounge and dining room. Inside there is now a small library of books etc, boxes of childrens toys, a unique collection of paintings and prints, and some interesting and individual items of furniture.
