Chatton Trout Fishery invites amateur anglers to fish without a rod licence in a picturesque 4 acre lake nearby. Alnwick Garden is an interesting visitor attraction to experience the Grand Cascade Waterfall and dine in the restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe - or take the train from Berwick where a regular service will transport you for a day trip to Edinburgh to enjoy a bit of culture or perhaps a touch of retail therapy!

What our customers say

K Hasler - May 2012

Adderstone Mains Lodge was perfectly situated to explore the wildlife, coast and attractions in the area. Although the property is close to the A1 we were not disturbed by traffic noise. The house is very comfortably furnished giving us a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. A lot of thought has been given by Ivor and Susanne (the owners) to make sure it was a 'home from home'. We didn't want to leave!

Angela Wakefield - October 2011
