If strolling barefoot in the sand to feel the waves lap against the seashore appeals, then Beachcomber cottages is the choice for you. The location of this pair of cottages will delight those looking for accommodation only a pebbles throw from an expansive sweep of golden, sandy beach.
Beachcomber cottages are a pair of traditional semi - detached coastal cottages tucked at the end of a no through road in the tiny hamlet of Goswick, on the extreme north east coast of Northumberland. The accommodation has a rustic charm with original exposed beams and wood burning stoves.

About the local area
To the rear of the cottages is direct access to s glorious sandy beach where you could walk to the mainland side of the causeway (around 3 miles), which leads onto the tidal island of Lindisfarne, known as Holy Island; it is swept by the North Sea but safe to cross twice daily via a metalled causeway. The elegant Georgian town of Berwick - straddled by its salmon rich river Tweed - offers many amenities 9 miles north and the picturesque village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic castle is 14 miles south making Beachcomber cottages a delightful coastal base to explore north Northumberland and the Scottish Borders alike.
