Twin Palms sits opposite a riding stable with views of open farmland towards Beadnell, only 2 miles away and renowned for its extensive golden sandy bay, where the invigorating smells and sounds of the lapping waves can be enjoyed. It's often recognised as the jewel in Northumberland's seaside crown and is a popular holiday destination known for it's extensive range of quality water sports; including sea kayaking, kite surfing and scuba diving. Twin Palms is set half a mile inland form the fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands - famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony - depart regularly. In the village there are several quaint tea rooms, a number of child friendly pubs, charming shops and amusements. Fishing, horse riding and golf are only a sample of the many amenities available in this sought after location. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle. Holy Island - the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle - can be seen from the wild expanse of golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles south and inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle, often referred to as 'The Windsor of the North' and ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter;s Hogwarts Academy!) A wonderful tourist attraction is Alnwick Garden - a spectacular contemporary interpretation of a formal garden and includes the Grand Cascade waterfall, a Poison Garden and a restaurant incorporated within the largest tree house in Europe.

Lovely house - lovely location - very clean and comfortable. Would definitely return.
The owners were extremely helpful taking receipt of a delivery for us on the Saturday of our arrival. The property is large but warm and cosy. It is a lovely property for a small or large group.
