The historic market town of Alnwick, dominated by its majestic castle is 18 miles north where the Alnwick Garden boasts a Grand Cascade Waterfall, a Poison Garden and the largest tree house in Europe! Interesting visitor attractions close by include the English Heritage site at Brinkburn Priory and the National Trust properties at Wallington Hall (11 miles) and Cragside, which is close to the picturesque small town of Rothbury, where the River Coquet ebbs and flows, 15 miles away. The expansive sweep of golden sands at Druridge Bay is only 12 miles east and the nearby County Park offers a Nature Sanctuary and where many water sports are available on Ladyburn Lake, making The Coach House an excellent base for those wishing to explore the many delights across Northumberland.

The cottage is well located in the town on a quiet street with easy parking but just a short walk to the town centre. It was ideal for our family of three and very suitably equipped and well presented.
