Tucked away in a peaceful courtyard of four cottages yet only a few yards from where the River Coquet ebbs and flows make this idyllic for a romantic riverside evening stroll. The cottage is well equipped and immaculately presented throughout with an open fire in the lounge ensuring the cottage is aptly named! A sun room to the rear has a  bright and airy ambience to relax in and leads out to an enclosed patio area, ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.

About the local area

A friendly welcome regularly greets visitors to the picture postcard village of Warkworth, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle and is uniquely surrounded by the River Coquet. There are many facilities available within  the village including quaint shops, a post office, charming pubs, several galleries and a couple of good restaurants. A short walk from the village leads to an extensive sweep of golden, sandy beach. Amble, only 2 miles away and known locally as ' the friendliest port', is where fishing and boat trips to Coquet Island can be arranged to watch the puffins at play. The historic market town of Alnwick dominated by its own dramatic fortress offers a wide range of amenities, including a theatre/cinema, many restaurants and shops as well as an indoor swimming pool only 6 miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction - a spectacular contemporary interpretation of a formal garden includes a Grand Cascade waterfall, a Poison Garden and a restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Cosy Cottage offers a superb relaxing retreat for those seeking stylish accommodation which is well placed for exploring the Heritage coastline this area is renowned for.
