Attached at the rear to The Hermitage Inn in the heart of the picturesque village of Warkworth, this compact studio has been recently refurbished to accommodate couples.  A large sofa bed in the lounge area is dressed for sleeping as there is no separate bedroom, and the kitchen, which has a distant view of the castle, has a breakfast bar with two high stools.

A warm welcome awaits guests at The Hermitage Inn, renowned for its excellent cuisine; it serves delicious home cooked from 10am - 9pm (along with real ales) so guests can purchase a fully cooked breakfast, lunch or dinner if required.

Warkworth is a popular tourist destination snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle and is surrounded by the River Coquet, which gently ebbs and flows close by.  There are many facilities available within the village including quaint shops; charming pubs, several galleries and an extensive sweep of golden, sandy beach - all only a gentle stroll away. Amble, known as the 'friendliest port' is where fishing and boat trips to the Farne Islands - famous for its bird sanctuary and seal colony - can be arranged within 2 miles.  The historic market town of of Alnwick, awarded by 'Country Life' as " the best place to live in Britain" offers a wide range of amenities around 6 miles inland, including a theatre/cinema, many restaurants and an indoor swimming pool with health spa.  Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden are both well worth a visit.
