Pony-trekking, windsurfing, sailing and ferry trips are only a small selection of the many outdoor activities that can be arranged at Kielder Water - Northern Europe's largest man made lake - which is cradled by Kielder Forest Park, a paradise for ramblers and cyclists who will enjoy the various challenging routes close by.

The pretty village of Bellingham offers many facilities including quaint shops, tea rooms and inns 10 miles away and guests will enjoy a visit to Otterburn Mill.

What our customers say

J Beck - April 2012

Took a little while to warm up but it was beautiful and the owners had gone to the trouble of leaving milk, tea/coffee and chocolates on arrival.

G Morley - March 2012

We had a wonderful weekend in the cottage and would recommend it to anyone. Ideally situated, dog friendly pub and coffee shop in the village, and just what we needed for away from it all. Although we never met the owners they could not have been more helpful. The cottage is clean and very comfortable. We knew that we were the first to rent the cottage as a holiday let and expected some teething problems, but the owners had thought of everything! We'll be back!
