Highfield Farm Cottage is a traditional stone built attached farm cottage in an extremely remote part of Northumberland. The cottage has a cosy open fire in both reception rooms giving it a homely feel. Situated in an area known generically as Tarset, Highfield Forest adjacent is managed by the forestry commission so the cottage is surrounded by woodland and miles of unspoilt countryside. The views are inspiring! Highfield is approached by a single track road around 9 miles west of the A68 heading into the very heart of rural Northumberland. It is close to the English Heritage site of Black Middens Bastle located on the Reivers cycle trail and will appeal to those who yearn to escape into the true Northumbrian countryside.Read more about Highfield Farm Cottage, Tarset
