The heart of the cottage is the spacious farmhouse kitchen, which is very well equipped to accommodate the gathering of families and friends and boasts a wood-burning stove making this a cosy choice, whatever the season!

Shepherds Cottage sits within the 800 acres of Roseden Farm, a traditional mixed farm, which has been farmed by the Walton family since 1937.  Roseden Farm is only 5 miles south of the welcoming small stone built town of Wooler, which is found nestled at the foot of the wild, heather topped expanses of the Cheviot Hills. This stunning area is known locally as Glendale (the inspiration for 'Postman Pat's Greendale!) and its many picturesque bridleways and footpaths are popular with those who enjoy cycling, horse riding and walking - the challenging route of the 'St Cuthberts Way' runs near by.
