Positioned within the modern residential area of Longstone Park, in the heart of the welcoming seaside village of Beadnell, this compact bungalow sits within a block of similar properties and offers snug accommodation! This cosy cottage benefits from being only a gentle stroll from a village shop, a quaint tea room and pub with restaurant well known for its excellent cuisine. Access to a small, sandy beach with rocky outcrops is close by and the extensive sweep of golden sands Beadnell Bay is renowned for is only half a mile away.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination for water sport enthusiasts and those who enjoy exhilarating coastal walks. The fishing village of Seahouses is only 2 miles north and offers many facilities including pubs, cafes, horse riding, golf, and is where boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony depart regularly. Just a few miles inland is the historic market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle, which is the ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter's Hogwarts Academy!) An interesting tourist attraction is Alnwick Garden - a spectacular contemporary interpretation of a formal garden and includes a Grand Cascade waterfall, a poison Garden and restaurant incorporated within the largest tree house in Europe!
