With magnificent views over the sea and towards St Mary’s Lighthouse, The Links, and The Spanish City Dome, Bay View is perfectly located in a prime position to enjoy the perfect seaside holiday. With three beaches within 2 miles, you will be spoilt for choice. The large airy living room has a custom built window seat wrapped around the large bay window where you can relax and soak in the ever-changing sea views, as well as high ceilings and a wonderful homely feel. The England Coastal Path runs within 150 yards of the property and the beautiful regenerated promenade is an absolute delight taking in all The Links from St Mary’s Lighthouse to the Spanish City. A highlight of Whitley Bay is the iconic Spanish City Dome regeneration finished in July 2018 but built in 1910, a beautiful space with something for everyone from pancakes and seafood to champagne and special events through the year all housed in this iconic building. This historic white domed building overlooks the sea and the splendid promenade.
An ideal holiday home for couples, friends or a small family, Bay View is perfect for exploring the many bespoke shops and cafés, and is a great location for spoiling yourself with a few drinks and lovely food in one of the many local restaurants and bistros. There are some beautiful walks around Whitley Bay and Tynemouth including the lovely walk along the seafront with views of the sandy beaches. The local metro stops in Whitley Bay and is great if you want to visit Newcastle upon Tyne or even Tynemouth if you don’t want to walk or drive. Whitley Bay has a playhouse with shows every week, Waves Swimming Pool, mini golf, plenty of ice cream and fish and chips, as well as fine dining and locally sourced food. Bay View is ideally located to travel all the county. Head north to the Heritage Coast up to Alnwick with the famous castle featured in Harry Potter, or west to Corbridge, an old Roman town near Hadrian’s Wall. With easy access to all the main roads making it ideal for exploring, Bay View really has everything to offer the discerning visitor with an abundance of facilities on your doorstep. Beach 100 yards. About the local area

Newcastle in located on the north bank of the River Tyne and with Gateshead on the south bank they have been transformed into a single visitor destination called "NewcastleGateshead".

Newcastle and Gateshead are a mix of the modern and historic, renowned for its excellent shopping and amazing nightlife. But the area has much more to offer - explore the beautiful ancient city walls and castle, enjoy the stunning quayside with its waterfront bars and galleries, dine in one of the many great restaurants and cafes and don't miss the fantastic public art such as the Angel of the North.

MetroCentre is the largest shopping and leisure centre in Europe and offers a not to be missed shopping experience with high street outlets, department stores and speciality shops in atmospheric themed areas. With more than 300 shops and stores, leisure facilities including an 11 screen cinema, Megabowl bowling alley and Quasar Laser plus more than 50 places to eat and drink.

Less than ten miles east of Newcastle city centre is the picturesque village of Tynemouth, dominated at the seaward end by the magnificent English Heritage attraction of Tynemouth Priory and Castle. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect to browse the many antique shops and enjoy a coffee and cake in one of the cafes. The nearby Victorian Metro station has a lively market at weekends selling a wide range of goods such as books, music and household bric-a-brac. This area of the north East of England is also famed for its miles of unspoilt coastline, with golden sands and stunning cliffs. Award winning beaches stretch right down the coast all providing an ideal location whether you want to find a quiet cove to relax, take a stroll along the cliff tops or enjoy many coastal activities such as water sports. A short distance inland brings you into `Hadrians Wall Country'.
