The Breamish Valley is an area ideal place for exploring on horseback. One of the popular routes which has been waymarked is the Prendwick Ride. This nine mile route is mostly on stone tracks, bridleways and hilly ground. It starts at Ingram Bridge where you are welcome to park your horse transport. The route is easy to follow the great majority of the route is off road, following clear stone tracks and bridleways, with some good canter opportunities and plenty of places to stop and take in the views of the National Park.
