In addition to providing such a spectacular location, Kielder Forest have kindly formulated thirteen way - marked trails which vary in length and difficulty, so there is certainly something for everyone here. For those after something with a little scenery, try the 27 mile Lakeside Way; a new path around the lake which provides magnificent views and plentiful amounts of wildlife to see. Or if you fancy something more challenging then the Dead Water Trails or the Black Grade Trail may provide something to better suit your needs! Be wary, however, the Dead Water Trails are certainly not recommended for the amateur, with its 1900 foot summits and steep hills be sure to be prepared for tremendously thrilling and difficult descents!
