There are two aspects to the Pennine Cycleway. One follows the Southern Pennines and this one, through the Northern Pennines from Berwick-on-Tweed to Appleby. It covers 150 miles of some of the most spectacular landscapes and unspoilt countryside that England has to offer, including the Eden valley, the North Pennines and the Northumberland National Park. Notable towns to visit on the route include Rothbury, Wooler, Bellingham and Once Brewed.
