The Northumberland Coastal Path forms part of the international North Sea Trail and is a recently established 64 mile coastal ramble! No keen coastal walker can afford to miss out on this excellent route which provides stunning views of the beautiful Northumberland Coastline.

Split into six easy to manage sections, varying from around 7 - 12 miles in length, this route takes you from the pleasant Cresswel Beach to the popular holiday destination of Berwick upon Tweed. Well signposted and generally level, with a few steep climbs thrown in here and there, this route is perfect for those wishing to take in the sea air and stunning views. Northumberland Coastal towns have so much to offer from dramatic castles to traditional seaside towns. Also, for those of you who fancy something a little lighter, you can simply choose one of the smaller sections and still have the experience of a wonderful Northumberland coastal ramble!
