Set within 5-acres and commanding spectacular views across open farmland towards Bamburgh Castle and the sea as a backdrop, nestles Bellshill Bothy. Constructed in 2019 with every effort and thought to ensure holidaymakers enjoy a relaxing retreat, this fantastic property is simply divine. The exterior is wrapped in cedar, giving it a naturally warm and rustic feel. The spacious entrance leads to a large open plan living space where there is a kitchen, dining and additional living areas. There are full height sliding patio doors on two sides of the living space affording magnificent views and enhancing its bright and airy ambience. A wood burner ensures this room will be a cosy retreat regardless of the season.

There is an additional living room on the ground floor, and is an idyllic place in which to relax and retreat where once again the views can be admired. A double bedroom and a shower room are conveniently on the ground floor also. On this first floor the gable end is filled with 4 metre high glass, and where the focal point of the view draws the eye directly to Bamburgh Castle! The other two double bedrooms are on the first floor, both have the luxury of separate dressing areas, an en-suite bathroom and fabulous, far reaching views.

The sweeping driveway up to Bellshill Bothy provides ample parking for up to twenty cars. A pergola perched on the patio area is an idyllic spot to dine al fresco and enjoy sitting outdoors and watching children and pets at play. Enjoy exploring the woodland directly behind Bellshill Bothy. Underground storage for cyclists is available for those who would enjoy the challenge of the various cycle tracks nearby. Although Bellshill Bothy offers a rural retreat with a huge amount of privacy, it is also situated only a few miles from Belford where there is a small shop, pubs and a tearoom. The welcoming small town of Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills around 10 miles inland, and the picture perfect coastal village of Bamburgh is only 5 miles east, with its dramatic fortress that can be seen from the property. The Georgian market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is 20 miles away as is the historic market town of Alnwick, making Bellshill Bothy an excellent base to explore this beautiful part of North Northumberland. About the local area

The idyllic country village of Bamburgh, ancient royal seat of the kings of Northumbria, is set in one of the most breathtakingly picturesque coastal regions in the UK. With trips to the Farne Island Group so close at hand from nearby Seahouses, Bamburgh is certainly one of the most sough after coastal destinations on the Northumberland coast.

The main attraction in Bamburgh is of course Bamburgh Castle, one of Northumberland's most iconic buildings. Spanning nine acres of land on its rocky plateau high above the Northumberland coastline Bamburgh it is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country and has won awards in the North East Large Visitor Attraction Awards and the Green Business Scheme. To prove its universal appeal, the castle was recently a finalist in TV's Britain's Favorite View competition.

A visit to this area is not complete without a trip to Lindisfarne (Holy Island), a tidal island which can only be accessed across the causeway when the tidal conditions allow. Holy Island has a national reputation as a wildlife haven and is home to a national nature reserve. As well as numerous rare birds, you may even spot the grey seal that are resident on the nearby Farne Islands all year round.

Dramatically perched on a rocky crag is Lindisfarne Castle is a small fortress first built in 1550 and today is looked after by the National Trust. Accessible over the causeway is at low tide only, and the island castle presents an exciting and alluring aspect.
