Stepping through the property, locate the kitchen/diner, well-equipped with essential appliances, including an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, and a dining area with seating for four. From here, to the rear of the property you will find the main bathroom which houses a bath and overhead shower. As day draws to night, retire inside, climb upstairs, and be greeted by two stunning bedrooms. One well-presented master double bedroom with an en-suite, and a further double across the landing, both with ample furniture to house your belongings and bedside lamps so you can escape into a book. Head to the rear of the property and up seven steps where you will find a gorgeous, enclosed garden, with comfortable garden furniture and a BBQ where al-fresco dining is a must on them hot summer evenings. The garden is also a lovely spot for your furry friends to enjoy. The garden can be accessed from a side gate if you would like to avoid using the steps.
Felton is in an ideal location, not too far from the A1, making venturing out very easy in all directions. The village of Felton has great amenities right on your doorstep, a few of which being The Running Fox Café, The Northumberland Arms pub, and The Hillrise Store which offers all your shopping essentials. Felton is known for its great walking and cycling routes which gives you a chance to capture some breath-taking scenery! Beach 7 miles.

About the local area

Warkworth is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque villages in the whole of Northumberland and not only has an excellent range of pubs, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and quality gift shops, but also a magnificent castle, located right in the middle of the village, to admire and explore.

The magnificent cross-shaped keep of Warkworth, crowning a hilltop rising steeply above the River Coquet, dominates one of the largest, strongest and most impressive fortresses in northern England. The castle's most famous owners were the Percy family, whose lion badge can be seen carved on many parts of their stronghold.

There are wonderful riverside walks alongside the pretty River Coquet which encircles the village, to watch the abundance of wildlife such as herons, foxes, migrating birds, and a vast, sandy beach with dramatic dunes and wonderful, far-reaching views up and down the Heritage Coastline.

Cyclists can enjoy an easy 18 mile day ride. The route has no major climbs and is featured in the recently published 'Sustrans Cycle Northumberland' booklet. Starting in the village, the route heads west inland on quiet lanes, and passes through Guyzance, Acklington and Broomhill. Rejoining the coast at the vast expanse of Druridge Bay and returning north via the fishing port of Amble.
