Kielder Castle Cottage sits at the end of a small terrace of three facing directly opposite the impressive Kielder Castle. Nestled within the beautiful Kielder Forest, this unique location is the very heart of the stunning North Tyne Valley situated within the Northumberland National Park; England’s most northerly of National Parks. The cottage dates back to circa 1800’s and has recently undergone a full makeover. Renovated to an excellent standard it boasts solid wood flooring and stylish furniture with coordinated furnishings. With only a couple of steps to its entrance the accommodation is then all on one level giving easy accessibility throughout. The spacious lounge enjoys a lovely light filled ambience which leads to an attractive sun room; a perfect spot to dine and admire the patio gardens which surround. The kitchen is very well equipped with a convenient boot room adjacent to the rear door; a useful space for outdoor clothing etc. Both double bedrooms are immaculately presented with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen and two sofa beds suitable for additional children may be available on request. A fresh and contemporary bathroom with glamorous roll top bath completes the interior.
There are fully enclosed private gardens to the side and rear of the cottage with BBQ/fire pit - a lovely space to dine al fresco in seclusion as the sun sinks and gives a place for children and pets to play. This is a haven for wildlife; a wide array of birds and red squirrels are frequent visitors to Kielder Castle Cottage. A shed is useful for the storage of bicycles, golf clubs and fishing gear. Canoe storage may also be available on request. Kielder Castle Cottage is one of only a small selection of cottages available within the Kielder Forest footprint. Take time to sample the licensed tea room within Kielder Castle - directly opposite the cottage and where children will enjoy the challenge of the Minotaur Maze or have fun exploring the two well equipped play parks close by too. A warm welcome awaits families to the Anglers Arms pub and restaurant, a mere gentle  stroll from the cottage. A friendly greeting regularly meets visitors to Kielder Village where a well stocked shop with basic provisions is within walking distance. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
